A Smart City has been envisioned to enhance the quality of living of the people around the project. The development of roads, communication infrastructure and other water & power facilities will immensely benefit the local population.
Transport Infrastructure :
A project of this scale would mean that there is a huge potential for development of transport infrastructure including road & rail connectivity, development of Port facilities and subsequent development of air connectivity.
Educational Institutions :
The project would also entail development of educational and skill development infrastructure in the region. These educational institutions would bring high quality of education and training that would also benefit the local population and youth of the region. The skill development centers will also specifically train the local youth to get employment opportunities in the industries being developed besides enhancing their capabilities to develop as entrepreneurs for setting up their own industry.

RRPCL also proposes as part of the project, to develop world class heath care facilities including specialty hospitals to cater to the needs including the local population at very affordable cost.

Due to the Smart City development, there is also a potential for setting up several entertainment facilities like cinemas, malls, community & recreation centers and sports facilities.
Tourism development :
With the improved connectivity, the potential for tourism development to promote the magnificent beaches in this part of the country will also improve. This would generate a lot of income and business & employment opportunities for the public of this area.
